This is the general reaction from people who have just seen the new band called Digg Deep, led by Shyndigg, the band's founder, bandleader, composer, producer, bassist, and co-lead vocalist. They have stomped into major clubs such SOB's, Shine, Izzy Bar, and the Mercury Lounge. Stylistically, they are Musique Noir, which is what one music critic famously described as "Hip Hop embracing Burt Bacharach." They are presently finishing up their first album entitled "InDiggNation", due for a summer '04 release on Grade 44 Records.Pioneering the musique noir movement Digg Deep continues to infiltrate the New York City scene and beyond.
